A is for Antiques... and there are many well-priced, adorable shops to visit. From the outdoor pedestrian mall to the cozy shops in West Cape May, the town is an antique hunter's dream.
B is for Birding... and Cape May, at the southernmost tip of New Jersey, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Delaware Bay, is a birder's paradise. The Cape May Bird Observatory is home to bird enthusiasts and birds alike!
C is for Cove Point Beach... and what a gorgeous beach it is! This beach is popular for its surfing, shells, and tidal pools filled with hermit crabs and other wonders of nature at low tide.
D is for Dolphins... and whales and porpoises. It is truly amazing to see these beautiful creatures right from your spot on the beach- or take a whale watching boat tour to get up close & personal.

K is for Kids... Cape May is a completely family-friendly town. From children's nature walks at Cape May Point State park to the zoo, arts classes, and performances on the boardwalk, Cape May is full of fun for children.
L is for the Lobster House... no better way to enjoy the bounty of the ocean than sitting in a bar made from a boat sipping a Pina Colada or eating a huge lobster pot full of seafood at the Lobster House in Cape May. Get there early!
M is for Museums... history buffs will love Cape May. One of the most unique museums is Historic Cold Spring Village, which is a shady, open-air collection of historic buildings replicating village life from 1790-1840.
N is for Naval Air Station... located in Cape May, the Naval Air Station Aviation Museum and restoration of the airplane hangar, is dedicated to the 42 naval airmen who perished there during World War II training.
O is for Observatory... the Cape May Bird Observatory is a tourist-friendly research and education facility located near the gorgeous 1859 Cape May Lighthouse, which can be climbed for a stunning view of the Jersey Shore.
P is for Physick Estate... this Victorian house, built in 1878, is now a museum portraying Victorian life; it's home to the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts, which coordinates most of Cape May's Victorian house tours.
Q is for Quaint, Quiet, Quirky, and Quintessentially perfect! Cape May is all of the above.
R is for Restaurants... diners in Cape May will be faced only with the challenge of where to eat. There are so many fantastic restaurants, you'll want to check out a new one during each day of your visit- and you won't even come close to seeing them all!
S is for Sunset Beach... this is where you'll find the most gorgeous sunsets on the East Coast, complete with patriotic ceremony ant sundown. The beach is also famous for its Cape May diamonds- fun to find, fun to buy as jewelry in the shop.
T is for Theatre... and this seaside town has an amazing flair for the dramatic. Several theatre companies provide year-round entertainment at multiple locations- including a haunted dinner theatre!
U is for Under the Boardwalk... we'll be having fun! The boardwalk in Cape May is fun for the whole family- the kids love the arcade, the parents love the shops and cheese fries! There's even a performance hall featuring kids' shows and dances!
V is for Victorian... and this place is the center of the Victoriana universe in the United States. The late 19th century fire that nearly wiped out the town resulted in the building of the highest concentration of Victorian buildings in America.
W is for Washington Street Pedestrian Mall... lucky for Cape May visitors, visionary municipal officials closed a main downtown street and transformed it into a pedestrian mall, filled with fudge shops, gift and clothing stores, and other fun places to shop.
X is for Xrays...Yep, there's a hospital- and unless you're looking for a Xylophone, which you can probably find in the Cape May Toy Shop downtown, Xrays are undoubtedly one of the few other Cape May X's!
Y is for YUM!.. .ok, it's a stretch, but c'mon, it's 'Y'! Seriously...the yummy fudge and salt water taffy at the Washington Street Mall and the boardwalk are enough to satisfy any sweet tooth. Sweet!
Z is for Zoo... believe it or not, there's a Cape May County Park & Zoo... and it's a real treat for kids of all ages and a great way to take a break from the beach and visit the animals.
